Responsibilities: Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on quality care and daily activities. Ensure the safety of all clients, model appropriate behavior, and compliance to agency rules. Assist clients with activities of daily living enabling them to remain in their own homes and provide a safe and clean-living environment. Engaging in community integration and person-centered planning is imperative to the success of each individual. May travel to surrounding counties. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ability to work and cooperate with individuals, co-workers, managers, public and employees at all levels in order to exchange ideas, information, instructions, and opinions.

Ability to work under stress and in an emotionally charged setting.

Ability to defend oneself and individual in mentally/verbally abusive situations, through the use of approved verbal de-escalation techniques.

Regional Agency Coordinator
Hope Ohio is a provider of waiver support services for individuals with disabilities in South Western Ohio. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Regional Agency Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the upper managment to oversee all operations within your assigned region, including managing clients, staff, and relationships with county boards and families. This position requires frequent travel within the region, so reliable transportation is essential.
**Responsibilities:**

Serve as the primary point of contact for all clients within the assigned region, ensuring their needs are met and services are delivered effectively.

Provide support and guidance to staff members, including training, supervision, and performance evaluation.

Attend Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings for clients, advocating for their needs and preferences.

Coordinate with county boards and other external agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and funding requirements.

Foster positive relationships with clients' families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Collaborate with the CEO and other regional coordinators to develop and implement organizational policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client services, staff activities, and financial transactions.

Represent Hope Ohio at community events, conferences, and meetings as needed.Work remotely
**Requirements:**

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous Direct Support Profession (DSP) experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a related human services field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Proficiency with computer software and internet applications.
-
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the region as needed.

Commitment to a 1-year term of employment.

Base salary plus commission structure available based on regional activity.
